New CMO appointed as transformational membrane technologies launched commercially

We have expanded our executive management team with the appointment of Andrew Walker as Chief Marketing Officer. Andrew joins Craig Clement (Chief Operating Officer) and Chris Wyres (Chief Executive Officer) to take on a leading role in the launch of our first generation of filtration products.

Filtering the unfilterable

We’re joining the Aquatech online session on notable innovations in industrial water treatment on September 21. The goal of the session will be to help answer the question: “Will the continued evolution of filtration technologies, including membranes, enable previously seen ‘unfilterable’ wastewaters to be filtered, reduce the efforts for treatment chemicals and energy significantly, and unlock water reuse applications?”

Milestone contract for graphene technology in water treatment

We have landed our first commercial contract for the enhancement of water filtration membranes with graphene oxide – a significant milestone for both the company and the wider sector.

Membrane technology business accelerating growth plans

We have recently completed an equity funding round, attracting new and existing investors to back the business and accelerate growth. The capital will be used to pursue new opportunities and speed up product prototyping and industrial testing.

G2O expands engineering team

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Omkar Joshi to our engineering team as a Computational Fluid Dynamics Engineer. Omkar will be responsible for leading CFD analysis and experimental validation, guiding design and innovation and tackling the inefficiencies of current water separation technologies.

Our research and development team has expanded with two new appointments. Claire Ashworth and Keir Quiligotti join the team as Laboratory Technicians and will be supporting product development.

G2O secure Innovation Continuity Loan from Innovate UK

We have successfully secured an Innovation Continuity Loan from Innovate UK, the UK’s innovation agency, to accelerate commercialisation of our transformational product for treatment of produced water in the oil industry.

GO Membranes project develops low cost water purification system using graphene oxide based coating technology

We are collaborating on a project with Unilever and William Blythe to develop a scalable water purification process using graphene oxide. The process is designed for use in next generation point-of-use water purification systems.

Graphene technology business moves forward into commercial applications

Following a series of investments and grants totalling ~£5 million, G2O will be expanding our partnership network for commercial-scale applications in desalination, water supply, oil, gas, food, beverage and energy sectors, and beyond.
